Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last Updated: July 16, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules governing the use of the network transit, cloud routing, VPN tunnels, and consulting services provided by XTT Ltd. Co. ("XTT", "we", "us", "our").
By subscribing to or using XTT's network services, you ("Customer", "User", "you") agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your services without notice or refund.
1. Prohibited Network Activities
Users of XTT's network services must not engage in any activity that degrades, disrupts, compromises, or illegally exploits XTT's cloud routing backbone, upstream dedicated servers, leased/announced IP blocks, or third-party networks.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
A. Security Violations & Cyberattacks
- Denial of Service (DoS) / Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS): Originating or amplifying flood attacks, SYN floods, or mail bombing.
- Port Scanning & Network Probing: Performing unauthorized network scans or vulnerability assessments of third-party IP addresses without prior written authorization.
- Malware Propagation: Hosting, distributing, or transmitting viruses, trojans, worms, rootkits, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
- IP Address Spoofing: Transmitting packet headers with forged source IP addresses (either to hide identity or to spoof local LAN endpoints).
B. Illegal or Fraudulent Content
- Copyright Infringement: Transmitting, hosting, or caching copyrighted materials without authorization, including Peer-to-Peer (P2P) torrenting of copyrighted software, movies, or music.
- Fraud & Phishing: Operating deceptive websites or redirecting users to sites designed to steal credentials, financial details, or personal data.
- Unlawful Data Transit: Transferring data that violates local, state, federal, or international laws, including export control laws.
C. Resource Abuse & Messaging Violations
- Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk email (UBE) or commercial messages. Operating open mail relays, open proxies, or hosting "spamvertised" sites.
- IP Blacklist Triggers: Engaging in activities that result in XTT's BGP IP blocks being added to public blacklists (e.g., Spamhaus, Barracuda).
- Cryptocurrency Mining: Running CPU/GPU-intensive cryptocurrency mining clients on XTT's virtual infrastructure (CHR nodes).
2. Resource Allocation & Fair Share
- Bandwidth Usage: Customers must not exceed the bandwidth caps associated with their specific billing plan. Sustained network congestion that degrades service for other clients on the same PoP may result in rate-limiting.
- IP Allocations: Leased static public IPv4 addresses are reserved strictly for authorized customer CPE endpoints. IP addresses cannot be sub-leased, shared, or assigned to external third parties.
3. Monitoring, Enforcement, and Incident Reporting
A. Network Audits
XTT operates a strict no-logs transit policy for payload data (we do not inspect the contents of your encrypted VPN packets). However, XTT reserves the right to monitor flow metadata (port counts, packet frequency, bandwidth volumes, and packet header structures) to ensure network health and detect abuse.
B. Suspensions & Termination
XTT reserves the right to suspend or disable any customer tunnel or CPE device immediately upon receiving:
- A verified Abuse Notification from our upstream carriers.
- A valid Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) take-down notice.
- Law enforcement inquiries, warrants, or court orders.
