General Interest - Network Engineering

 We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal connectivity.
  • Implement security measures to protect network integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support business operations and optimize network resources.
  • Perform network capacity planning and scalability assessments.
  • Document network configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configurations and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid environments is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are a plus.

Must Have

  • HS Diploma or Higher
  • Passion for networking.
  • Perfect written English.
  • Highly creative and autonomous.
  • US Citizen or Valid Work Visa.

Nice to have

  • Network Certifications (CCNA, FCP, NSE)
  • Additional languages.
  • Scripting experience.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
